2.5 Weeks Without Movies (formerly Saturday at the Movies Answers)

This was Mighty Mom's challenge question for me:

Name the formerly married actor and actress who both played in one of the Harry Potter Movies...and which movie had both of them.

Being as I only know Daniel Radcliffe (we have the same birthday), Alan Rickman (I am in love with that man's voice), Maggie Smith, and Hermione Grainger by name, and have only watched 2 of the Harry Potter movies all the way through, I have absolutely no idea.

See? You all should have taken a poke at me!

HAHAHA!! Got you back for knowing EVERY SINGLE ONE of my Halloween questions!!

Emma Thompson and Kenneth Branaugh

but I was wrong I think, while both their characters were in the book The Order of the Phoenix I don't believe Emma's character of Professor Trelawney was in The Chamber of Secrets, which is the only MOVIE that Kenneth (Professor Lockhart) was in.....

you really should read the books dearie...or at the very least add the 5 movies to your list to download.

Might Mom is right. Branagh is in Chamber of Secrets and Thompson in Goblet of Fire. They should both appear in film 6 (I think, or could be 7) when Harry visits Neville's parents in hospital and Lockhart is there too.

I have a blog award for you. Please stop by to find out about it.

Hi! I just stumbled across your blog via Our Red House, and I shall definitely return to read more! I think it was the "cocker mom" part that hooked me - I LOVE cocker-spaniels! I have an English Spoodle (English Cocker Spaniel x Poodle) myself, but I keep telling my partner we should get a Cocker too, and then the two puppies could keep each other company and get into a bunch of Cocker-mischief! He refuses to accept this is a good idea, though. :(
All the best for the New Year!

Kate, the meeting you mentioned happens in book 5 Order of the Phoenix, the movie of which is already out and that scene was one of many (800+ page book) that got cut.

Hey girl, Thesaurus Thursday 2009 is up and running, and I am staying up way to late just to tell you to come over here and PLAY!!
