That was an absolutely mesmerizing movie! The Green Mile. I think that character was played by an actor named Michael Clarke? I may be way off on that, though. The cast included James Cromwell and Tom Hanks and -- what a great cast!!
Yes, I must agree with Catherine. Also a cast member was Barry Pepper who was in another Tom Hanks vehicle - 'Saving Private Ryan' and the HBO movie '61'.
Ah--one I know--the green mile! Not sure who played John Coffey--but he was the inmate with the special powers!

So, my question. Did you read the book as a serial waiting for each installment to come out...or did you wait and buy it in book form all together? I waited, can't stand to read one chapter at a time!
I had no idea but I am going to assume it is the Green Mile since that seems to be the overwhelming choice! I need to work on my movie trivia.;)
