Over, But Not Yet Done

Looonnnnggg day.

Surprisingly, we didn't have as many Trick-or-Treaters as last year, so I have boo-koodles of candy left.

But the kids seemed to like the decorations a lot--even the tiny ones. One family told me they've come here every year since we've been here! All the kids seemed to know it was a Mad Scientist's Laboratory, so I was pleased to get the concept across.

It's almost 1 am, and except for a few little tea lights stil burning in the pumpkins, all is dark. I'm finishing up a mug of hot mulled cider, Tandi is out like a light in her crate, and when I get the energy, I'm dragging my carcass to bed.

So here are a few pictures from the night:

This is most of the main display after it got dark. It's lit by the green spotlights, and my friend is crouched down beside the table.

You may have the cutest Halloween stuff I've ever seen. Loved the one with the doll being eaten by the Jack O lantern.

That is SO cool! I LOVE the theme! I love the Ken doll hanging out of the jack-o-lantern's mouth.

FavoriteSon wanted to carve the puking pumpkin this year, but he got invited to a friends and skipped pumpkin carving for the first time this year. Maybe next year.

We have a pond on our porch and next year I want to get some dry ice.

I was wondering how your Halloween decorations turned out. They looked fabulous, especially spooky looking when bathed in green light. And the barfing pumpkin...icky but funny!
