Well, Julie of Pragmatic Compendium and Mighty Mom of My Wonderful Life both came up with the correct answers--at about the same time, though MM's husband was hogging the computer and didn't let her post! Bad Subvet!
It was Dennis Miller who played the ex psychiatrist and former lover of Sandra Bullock's character in The Net. My husband was even surprised, because, although he has watched the movie several times, couldn't picture who it was.
